Creative Writing

My minor is in creative writing. I have participated in three poetry workshops, one short fiction workshop, and one creative nonfiction workshop. Through these classes, I read a wide variety of work in each respective genre, which helped me to gain a deeper understanding of the broad field of creative writing. In workshop, I was able to give advice to and receive it from my peers, allowing me to discover more about my own writing process and which techniques I like to read in others work and employ in my own.
